Meet our Campus Ambassadors!
Campus ambassadors play a vital role in welcoming students and their families to UW-Whitewater, offering an introduction to the vibrant campus community. As some of the first faces visitors encounter, these dedicated students serve as a link between families and student life, providing valuable insights, answering questions, and processing documents.
Whether guiding campus tours or assisting at the admissions front desk, campus ambassadors are key points of contact for prospective students and their families, ensuring a seamless and professional experience that reflects UW-Whitewater’s commitment to accessibility and support.

About Alexa
One of my favorite memories from year one was coming back to campus after winter break my freshman year. I think it was the moment I fully I knew I belonged here. Seeing all my friends that I had missed so much and being excited to start classes again is a feeling that meant a lot to me.
Favorite Campus Food Spot
My absolute favorite place to eat is absolutely Ike Schaffer Commons for breakfast. They have so many different options like the omelets bar or the bagel section but I love the classic breakfast bar that has different options everyday! You always have tons of options to switch it up. I especially love it because as a freshman, my new student seminar class had a tradition of getting breakfast every week after our class time. It's a little nostalgic every time I go!

One tip I have for high school students when it comes to their transition to college, is to know that everything will end up working out in the end! Don't put too much pressure on yourself to try and have everything go perfectly. Some things aren't going to end up working out and that is okay! Try to go with the flow and be kind to yourself!
